Fool’s Advantage

USING THE TAROT FOR STRATEGY, TEAMWORK AND GROWTH

We run short, punchy workshops using tarot cards.

They’re an energising way to improve team performance.  And they’re a fast way to provoke new solutions for business, marketing or brand strategy.

We can help your teams uncover new knowledge about themselves and their business.

A Fool’s Advantage workshop can be a stand-alone session, or a ‘guest’ workshop in a broader agenda.

It’s run by people with huge real world experience of business, strategy planning and teams.

No reports, no debriefs.  It’s a live event; a resource to be used, not put in a folder.

Think of it as a catalyst, not a conclusion.

Granted, it might sound a bit unusual.  But if you want a different outcome, perhaps try doing something different.

Tarot cards?  Really?  Are you serious?

You’d be forgiven for being a bit sceptical.  The tarot hasn’t exactly done itself any favours in the last 500 years.  What with all the devil worship, the dodgy fortune telling, and that scene with Jane Seymour in Live and Let Die.

But hang on.  Ignore the psychic chicanery for a moment.  What if the tarot can do something that all the usual techniques can’t?

Maybe even because of its otherness?  No blue-sky breakouts? No personality typing? No big-data crunching?

In truth, the tarot is just a collection of stories.  But like all good stories, it’s built on patterns.  Patterns make us think.  They make us join the dots and question things we’ve taken for granted. And above all they make you wonder “what happens next?”

It’s a provocative way to reveal understanding.  It creates new perspectives and it challenges assumptions.  And yet it remains grounded in human truth.

It’s also fun.  And that counts for a lot.

It works a little like this

1

You decide on a question you want to explore

2

The cards are laid out in one of our specially tailored spreads

3

The significance of each card depends on its identity and its position in the spread

4

The cards are navigated by an experienced consultant

5

The team analyses patterns and interprets the story

6

Possible meanings are explored

7

It’s an engaging and provocative session

8

There’s plenty of questioning and discussion

9

The team is always encouraged to arrive at concrete actions

Tarot for teamwork

The tarot is all about people and relationships.  Its stories help to unlock issues.  It’s full of archetypes that help rapid understanding.  It helps us identify better behaviours and find how to put them into practice.

The tarot builds performance, together.

Tarot for strategy

The tarot is steeped in insight. It brings the shock of the unexpected with the power of long established human truth.  It brings together emotion & reason, tensions and desires.  It can deliver you fresh inspiration, or the final 5% extra.

The tarot brings new angles.
